The Elders
The elders rule the church jointly through the ministry of the word and sacrament. With the advice and assistance of the Women’s Leadership Council, the elders exercise spiritual oversight and care of the congregation.

Derek Radney - Teaching Elder / Pastor & Moderator of the Session
Derek grew up in San Diego, CA and Austin, TX. He has served as a pastor at Trinity since 2012. In 2005, he married Sally and they have four children.

Joel Branscomb - Teaching Elder / Pastor & Clerk of the Session
Joel grew up in Winston-Salem, and in February of 2017, he joined the pastoral staff at Trinity. He is also a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate. He and his wife Alyson have been married since 2009, and they have four children.

Trevor Laurence - Ruling Elder - Liturgist and Theologian in Residence
Trevor grew up in Winston-Salem. He completed a Ph.D. in theological ethics from the University of Exeter in Devon, UK and now serves as the executive director of the Cateclesia Institute, writes books and journal articles, oversees liturgy at Trinity, and serves as our theologian in residence. He and his wife Sylvia have been married since 2011, and they have three children.

Al Castillejo - Ruling Elder
Al grew up in New York, and he practices medicine. He and his wife Virginia have three adult children and six grandchildren.
The Deacons
The Deacons enable us to carry out our ministry through administration, resource management, and the facilitation of generosity and mercy.
Women’s Leadership Council
The WLC exists to advise and assist the Session, to mentor and aid the women of our church, and to serve as counselors, teachers, and examples to all.
